Yeah, there’s a certain amount of tension among the fairies, in case you hadn’t noticed.
Mercy is apparently a Corrigan (also called a Korrigan), a beautiful female fairy, noted as a seer, with flashing eyes. Also noted, in the folklore, for having long luxuriant and often combed hair, which clearly Mercy has put up with sticks. Corrigans are indeed fond of humanity — especially human children, according to legend, and are the principle suspects in most cases where babies are replaced with changelings. In legend, they are druidesses as well, and hostile to Christian Priests. Though how druidic Mercy is, I’m not sure I can say.
In other news, we got some fantastic gift art from the always cool Indigo Skynet, today! She did pictures of both Trudy and Mercy, and it seems like we should share.
