That last panel is like all fae noir.

I really like black and white line art. I always have. I really love strips like Nukees and Narbonic in part because they’re imaginative and well written and in part because they employ line art so well.

Greg’s showing off his chops here — I mean, not just with the kickass backgrounds (especially in panel one), but with the color shift, negative space and inverting he did in the last panel. He took what was in the script and made it a thousand times cooler.

But then, he does that a lot.
